Coloured Pencil Storage Update - #003

Updates

I feel like no matter I how much sorting I do, it is never enough when it comes to art supplies, paper and pencils. I also don’t know the best way to sort pencils, if there a “best” way? I feel like pencils are a nightmare to store in general, I just got 6 clear acrylic pots from The Range to store them all in so I can see what is in there and the colours very easily. I went with acrylic as I want these to last me a long time, I love the clear aspect of them to make it more clean. Although, I do wish I came across something similar but in a more eco friendly way but I couldn’t find anything at the time.

Have you got more eco friendly ways to store pencils in a similar way to this? I’d love to know, leave me a message on Instagram or where ever is convenient, I am constantly wanting to learn and wanting to do better.

As well as the pencil pots, I was wanting to store little jars of inks, fluids and tapes etc and these are some weird things to store efficiently! I did get some shelves that are made to go in cupboards to store plates on and such that are 15cm tall, so you can put things on top of them as well as underneath to make use of the air space.

Studio Space

I can’t tell you how much I want to get a studio space to have my own area to make my own that I can get more efficient storage for and actually put some money towards to make it work. This is definitely a long term goal, but how cool would that be?

Best case scenario having a studio space on my own land, maybe like a space in the garden so there is no travelling time, would be bliss!

As a goal of mine is to run my own small animal recuse in the future, using money from my art to make it, I can picture it being close to home to have things all around me to be able to offer help when ever I am needed. (I’d love to hire family and friends).

Anyway this was mostly and update to storage and a bit of a waffle on to future updates (potentially and hopefully). I would love to come back to this post in the future after having these wants come to fruition.
